@amanmhajan_, who wrote the song, played ‘Connections’ for me maybe 10 years ago and I loved it then as much as I do now.
Had to write lyrics for it of course, so I asked him to give me a clue about the reason for the name and in his usual cryptic style, he said, “You know… connections.”
Anyhow we recorded it on our second album ‘Bangalore Blues.’ Aman’s music is sensitive, intuitive and personal. I feel often that he writes his melodies specially for me, but of course that’s not true.
Nevertheless, when we perform together, at home, in the studio or on stage, there’s definitely a connection I haven’t ever felt with anyone else. I like shoes. He doesn’t.
